'Everybody's Got A Plan' nieuwe single Anthrax

18 september komt snel dichterbij. Dat is de dag waarop Cursum Perficio zal gaan verschijnen. Die nieuwe plaat van Anthrax ziet dan het licht via Nuclear Blast. Met nog een ruime maand te gaan dus, heeft Anthrax een nieuwe single van die release online gezet.

‘Everybody’s Got A Plan’ is die nieuwe single van Anthrax. De band heeft het gelijk goed aangepakt, want de beelden zijn heel recent. Op 7 juli speelde Anthrax als support van Iron Maiden in Lissabon en dat is piekfijn vastgelegd. Check het resultaat hieronder.

“‘Everybody’s Got a Plan’ has always been one of my favorite songs on Cursum Perficio,” vertelt Charlie Benante hierover says. “The video basically shows the band on and off stage in a montage of video clips that kinda matches the velocity of the song. ‘Everybody’s got a plan/That’s until they get punched in the face’ is such a great line, and so true!”

“Most of this video was shot opening for [Iron] Maiden in Lisbon, Portugal at Estádio da Lu on July 7, 2026,” haalt Scott Ian aan. “We wanted to capture us having fun on tour and what better way to do that? That was a plan that didn’t end up with a punch in the face! Have fun watching my friends!” Bassist Franky Bello voegt daar nog aan toe: “This video is a great representation of a day in the life of Anthrax on tour.”
