Afgelopen maand kwam Aviva met haar debuutalbum Volume 1. Die plaat heeft inmiddels al talloze streams op het internet. Aviva heeft echter het volgende al voor de fans in Petto. ‘Evil’ is namelijk de nieuwe single van Aviva.
Deze track is wat donkerder. De zware drums onderstrepen dat. Aviva speelt hier dan ook misschien mee in op de huidige situatie in de wereld. Check hier eerst het nummer met de daarbij behorende video.

“The song is a ‘heat of the moment’ song. That feeling when someone has screwed you over in some way and you’re so angry you feel like nothing is off the cards. That’s happened to everybody. I think the biggest lesson is that time heals all wounds and the things that mattered so much then, pass and don’t matter anymore.
My favourite lyric is ‘won’t save you know cause we’re not friends’ for two reasons. 1- because I think it’s hilarious how often people cut you out of their life until they need something, then all of a sudden the pop back up. 2- it’s ironically incorrect for both me AViVA and the character in my book, Teddy. We always end up saving people regardless of what they’ve done to us”.
