Nieuwe single Downfall Of Gaia online

‘Existence Of Awe’, dat is de nieuwe single van het uit Duitsland afkomstige Downfall Of Gaia. Deze nieuwe track behoort tot acht tracks die op de aankomende plaat van dit viertal komen te staan. Dat nieuwe album heet Silhouettes Of Disgust en verschijnt op 17 maart via Metal Blade Records.

In ruim vijf minuten laat Downfall Of Gaia in die nieuwe single horen wat men van hen kan verwachten. De progressieve insteek op de death metal kent verrassende wendingen en komt met een haarscherpe sound, waardoor de ronkende bass ook een mooie rol krijgt. Check dat zelf maar in de videoclip.

Zanger/gitarist Dominik Goncalves Dos Reis zegt hierover: “ ‘Existence Of Awe’ is a song about those inner demons and ghostly companions that many in this day and age are at the mercy of and have to fight against in whatever form. A condition that one often carries around unnoticed on the outside, which is not immediately visible to many, and that one must somehow learn to live with…“
