Combining the heaviness of nu-metal with the immersive textures of shoegaze, akapov create a sound built on contrast balancing crushing guitars, emotional vulnerability and cinematic soundscapes. Flowers, Wine and Candles
The upcoming single “Limbic” follows the band’s previous release “Flowers, Wine and Candles”, released on June 19. That track introduced listeners to akapov’s emotionally charged songwriting, exploring themes of conflict, isolation and complicated relationships through haunting melodies and intense instrumentation.
“Flowers, Wine and Candles” was produced with a dedicated creative team, featuring mixing and mastering by Arthur Boucault and Yannis Bouadna, recording by Thomas Hiblot, and management by Maud Chalard (Carillon). The visual side of the release was developed by Noah Edward (video), Ilyes Djouzi (assistant camera), Constance Crampon (figuration), and LordSad (makeup/DA).
