'Days Of The Lost' nieuwe single The Halo Effect

Misschien is het wel een van de debuutplaten van dit jaar waar het meest naar uitgekeken wordt: die van The Halo Effect. De band komt niet alleen uit Göteborg, maar komt ook voort uit de scène aldaar. De groep, met ex-leden van onder andere In Flames en Dark Tranquility, heeft nu goed nieuws. De single ‘Days Of The Lost’ van de debuutplaat van The Halo Effect staat online.

Die single van The Halo Effect is direct ook de titeltrack van de plaat. Days Of The Lost staat gepland voor 12 augustus van dit jaar en zal uit gaan komen via Nuclear Blast. Dat belooft dus een mooie zomer te gaan worden. Check hier snel de video voor die nieuwe single.

Frontman Mikael Stanne over de single: “Days Of The Lost” is about finding your place in life, about making that outcast experience into something that propels you forward. We all met in our mid teens and we were all trying to find direction, motivation and meaning. Thankfully we found it in creativity and music and we shared this passion and made something from it that remains an essential part of who we are as individuals and as parts of a whole. So this is us reflecting on our past, while watching a new generation slowly but surely find their path. It’s about standing up, being your true self and about not letting anything stand in your way. Our choices and our paths have led to all kinds of things but we wouldn’t change a thing.”

The Halo Effect is eerder al aangekondigd als de support van de machtige tournee van Amon Amarth en Machine Head. Daarmee komt The Halo Effect ook naar Nederland en België. Op 2 oktober staan die bands in de AFAS Live te Amsterdam en op 21 oktober in het Forest Nationaal te Brussel.
