Einar Solberg, frontman van de Noorse progmetalband Leprous, heeft onlangs de opnames voltooid voor zijn aankomende tweede soloalbum, de opvolger van het in 2023 verschenen ‘16’. Vandaag presenteert hij zijn eerste nieuwe solomuziek sinds dat album: de dynamische single ‘Stella Mortua’, opgenomen in samenwerking met The Norwegian Radio Orchestra.

Naast de rijke orkestrale arrangementen krijgt Einar opnieuw gezelschap van drummer Keli Guðjónsson (Agent Fresco) en violist Chris Baum (Bent Knee). Nieuw in de line-up zijn Jed Lindgard op bas en Pierre Daniel op gitaar. De track werd gemixt door Adam Noble (Nothing But Thieves, Biffy Clyro) en co-produced met David Castillo.
