De naam is misschien niet direct een die bekend in de oren klinkt, maar dat kan snel veranderen. Adrian Benegas komt namelijk op 5 mei van dit jaar via Reaper Entertainment met een nieuw album. Dat nieuwe album belooft op voorhand al veel goeds.
Op dat nieuwe album, welke Arcanum gaat heten, krijgt Adrian Benegas veel bijzondere gasten op bezoek. Zelf is hij keyboard-speler en songwriter. Ronnie Romero, bekend van Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow, neemt de vocalen op zich. Primal Fear-drummer Michael Ehré zorgt samen met Myrath-bassist Anis Jouini voor de ritmesectie. Gitaarwerk komt van de hand van ex-Delain-gitarist Timo Somers. Daarmee is dus ook Nederland nog vertegenwoordigd op deze tweede langspeler van Adrian Benegas.

Adrian Benegas bracht in 2019 zijn eerste album uit. Hij staat bekend om zijn oog (en oor) voor de symfonische kant van de metal. Hoogstwaarschijnlijk gaat het nieuwe album van Adrian Benegas ook in die hoek zitten. Stay tuned.
