Het is alweer acht jaar geleden dat Eonian is verschenen, maar eindelijk is er goed nieuws voor de fans van Dimmu Borgir. Natuurlijk verscheen er in 2023 nog een plaat met een aantal covers, Inspiratio Profanus, maar nu komt er dus echt een nieuwe release.
Op 22 mei zal namelijk Grand Serpent Rising, zoals dat nieuwe album van Dimmu Borgir gaat heten, verschijnen. Dat gebeurt in de verschillende uitgaves via Nuclear Blast. Om de fans alvast lekker te maken, is de eerste single ervan online gezet. Dat nummer is genaamd ‘Ulvgjeld & Blodsodel’. Jawel, Noors is daar weer de voertaal. Kijkend naar de tracklist van Grand Serpent Rising zou dat zomaar eens voor meer songs kunnen gelden. Check hier maar eens die nieuwe track.
