Op voorhand wordt het al een heftige release. Nuclear Blast kondigt namelijk met The Aggression Sessions niet zomaar een release aan. Het gaat hier om een uitgave waarop die knallers van bands helemaal losgaan en die drie zijn niet de minste.
Op The Aggression Sessions staan in het totaal zes tracks. Fit For An Autopsy, Thy Art Is Murder en Malevolence prijken op deze release. Alle drie de bands nemen twee voor hun rekening. De eerste single van deze release is ook al wereldkundig gemaakt. Dat is ‘Hellions’, een track van Fit For An Autopsy. Check dat nummer hier.

Fit For An Autopsy laat over dit nummer weten: ‘Hellions’ was a fun look back at some of our more brutal and fast-paced roots more akin to our earlier material. This year marks the 10-year anniversary of Hellbound, the record which we all collectively feel really started things in motion for the band. It was a blast to channel the energy and excitement we had at that time back into our music in 2023. It’s only natural for bands to evolve and expand their sound over time, but we never forgot where we came from, so this one is for those who were here from day one!”
The Aggression Sessions is de opvolger van The Depression Sessions. Naast een eigen nummer knallen de bands er ook allemaal een cover in. Daardoor is ook onder andere Cannibal Corpse vertegenwoordigd op deze uitgave. Die release, welke digitaal 7 april uitkomt en fysiek pas later dit jaar, is al in de pre-order middels deze link.
