Obscura komt in oktober met liveplaat

Het is een van de meest gevierde bands van de hedendaagse technische death metal: Obscura. Die band heeft erg goed nieuws voor iedereen die van deze band of het genre houdt. Obscura komt namelijk met een liveplaat.

Die liveplaat van Obscura zal A Celebration I – Live In North America gaan heten. De release verschijnt in de verschillende uitgaves op 27 oktober via Nuclear Blast. Van dat album heeft de Duitse band alvast het nummer ‘The Anticosmic Overload’ online gezet. Check dat nummer hieronder.

Mastermind Steffen Kummerer zegt: “A Celebration I – Live in North America covers a selection of concerts we performed in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico between 2022 and 2023 as part of the „A Valediction World Tour“. Within 20 years, we are looking towards the first live album of Obscura, spiked with songs of our last five releases. It was a pleasure working through every recorded show to pick the best song, the loudest possible audience and a stellar performance by a band that’s on fire. As a first impression, we choose „The Anticosmic Overload“ performed in the United States of America, since this was the first song ever we performed in North America back in 2009.”

A Celebration I – Live In North America

Het album van Obscura is opgenomen tijdens de tournee in Noord-Amerika ter promotie van A Valediction, wat de meest recente studioplaat is. De tracks zijn dan ook afkomstig van verschillende shows in Canada, de Verenigde Staten en Mexico. Die tournee vond plaats in 2022 en 2023.
