Instrumental prog/post-metal band Ølyp unveil their new single “THE HUMAN ERROR,” released on February 27 and available worldwide via KLONOSPHERE. The track marks the very first single from the band’s upcoming debut album I(m)MORTAL, set to be released on September 25 this year.
Without relying on lyrics, Ølyp craft immersive sonic landscapes where instruments speak louder than words. “The Human Error” moves between crushing heaviness, atmospheric passages and intricate progressive structures, creating a cinematic listening experience that unfolds purely through sound.
Written and performed by Ølyp and produced together with Chiaran Verheyden, the track was recorded by Chiaran Verheyden and David Castel. Verheyden also handled the mixing and mastering, shaping the expansive and powerful sound that defines the single.

As the first glimpse of the upcoming album I(m)MORTAL, “The Human Error” introduces the band’s conceptual approach to instrumental musicexploring themes of human fragility, evolution and the complex relationship between imperfection and creation.
