14 november is niet gelijk aan 14 juli, maar toch zal de veertiende van die herfstmaand dit jaar wel als een feestdag voelen. Dan gaat Rise Of The Northstar, de Franse trots van de energieke metal, met hun nieuw album komen. Dat heet CHAPTER 04: RED FALCON SUPER BATTLE! NEO PARIS WAR!!. Van die plaat heeft Rise Of The Northstar een nieuwe single online gezet.
Die nieuwe single is genaamd ‘Falcon’ en laat de kracht van Rise Of The Northstar eens te meer goed horen. Het is overigens niet de eerste single van de aankomende release. Onder andere ‘Back 2 Basics’, wat een samenwerking met hun landgenoten van Landmvrks is, kwam al eerder uit. Check hier eerst ‘Falcon’.

Frontman Vitia laat weten: “Here is the track that guided all my artistic direction for ROTN’s new era, the one where it all begins, and the one that closes our promotional campaign for this fourth album. I wrote it like a prayer, inspired by the airy notes of Eva-B’s chorus. At first, the guys weren’t really feeling the title, but after working on it over time, they eventually accepted it. In the end, it became clear to all of us that it had to be the one to represent the album. It’s a unique song for us, and it carries a message of hope. I dedicate it to all our loved ones who left too soon, but also to those still here, standing strong. May it bring strength to those who need it, and guide those who are searching !”
De nieuwe plaat van Rise Of The Northstar, waar deze single dus onderdeel van is, is opgenomen met behulp van Florent Salfati van het eerder al aangehaalde Landmvrks. Rise Of The Northstar heeft die opnames zowel in de Parijse buitenwijken als in Marseille gedaan. Van die nieuwe release komen verschillende versies, ook op CD, uit. Check daarvoor deze link.
