'The Well' nieuwe single Amorphis

Komende week start de uitgebreide Europese tournee van Amorphis, welke zij co-headlinen met Eluveitie en waar ook Dark Tranquility en Nailed To Obscurity van de partij zijn. Daarom heeft Amorphis een nieuwe single online gezet.

Die single heet ‘The Well’ en is afkomstig van een speciale uitgave van de meest recente plaat van Amorphis. De Finse band ziet namelijk vandaag via Atomic Fire Records een speciale tour-editie van Halo uitkomen. Die plaat verscheen eerder dit jaar. Daar zijn dus wat track onder andere aan toegevoegd, waar ‘The Well’ er dus één van is. Check dat nummer hier.

Reactie Amorphis op de single

“’The Well’ tells a story about an individual causing chaos and mayhem by breaking the principles of society. It is a timeless force phenomenon repeating itself in the history of time, a kind of natural force among the human kind”, zegt vocalist Tomi Joutsen. “The song itself is drawing some influences from the early scandinavian early black metal and classic oriental Amorphis vibes. This one is on the heavier side of the material recorded during the ‘Halo’ album sessions on 2021.”

De tournee van de bovengenoemde bands komt ook naar Nederland en België. Op 26 november spelen zij in de AB te Brussel, terwijl een dag later de 013 te Tilburg het decor van deze package is. Dat mag dus niet gemist worden.
