De Deense death metal machine Blood Eagle heeft een lyricvideo voor het nummer ‘Eyes Sewn Shut’ online gezet. Dat nummer is afkomstig van To Ride In Blood & Bathe In Greed part III. Dat is de laatste EP uit die serie en die verschijnt op 22 november via Nuclear Blast.
Deel 1 van de reeks EP’s is in september verschenen. Een maand later is To Ride In Blood & Bathe In Greed part II uitgekomen. Beide schijven laten horen dat deze heren de death metal goed begrijpen.
De band zegt: “The new album offers a vast array of influences, from punk, grind to death metal. One of the last songs we did for the album is ‘Eyes Sewn Shut’. This song came out more experimental, even with some influences from SLAYER (as you can hear in the intro). The lyrics deal with corruption and touch upon the dark facets of capitalism. Nonetheless definitely a song that can best be described as commanding skull crushing death metal energy!”
