Ter ere van het 15-jarig jubileum van hun baanbrekende debuutalbum One, kondigt de Britse progressieve metalband TesseracT een speciale anniversary vinyl-editie aan. Het album, oorspronkelijk uitgebracht in 2011, verschijnt op 8 mei 2026 opnieuw op vinyl als een hoogwaardige ‘half-speed master’, gesneden in de iconische Abbey Road Studios in Londen.
Deze luxe heruitgave wordt geperst op 180 grams vinyl en gepresenteerd in een stijlvolle gatefold hoes met matte afwerking en spot-gloss details. Fans kunnen kiezen uit een klassieke witte vinylversie of een zeer gelimiteerde diep bloedrode editie, exclusief verkrijgbaar via de band zelf via de volgende link.
Bassist Amos Williams blikt terug:
“Our debut album is meaningful to us on many levels. Alongside being the first step on our journey to wherever, it was also where we started to find our voice collectively as musicians, in the studio and on the stage. This album opened the door to a community of peers that in turn allowed us to forge many friendships worldwide, that we are pleased to say are still going strong today. But, TesseracT didn’t arrive fully formed, and One reflects that. Even throughout the album, you can hear the blossoming and igniting of a personality, one that to this day we still don’t understand; and nor should we!”
Bij de oorspronkelijke release werd One lovend ontvangen door de pers. Zo omschreef Terrorizer Magazine UK het album als “a stunning debut album that captures a wealth of musical dynamics”, terwijl Metal Hammer Duitsland sprak van “a daring and highly ambitious work”.
