From The Depth heeft 'Sweet Dreams' online

De klassieker uit de jaren ’80 van Eurythmics is toch wel ‘Sweet Dreams’. Dat nummer heeft tot ver buiten het genre zijn invloed gehad. Annie Lennox en co hebben al vele artiesten die track op een voetstuk zien plaatsen. Nu heeft de Italiaanse power metal band From The Depth ‘Sweet Dreams’ ook in hun versie opgenomen. Check dat nummer hieronder.

‘Sweet Dreams’ is afkomstig van de EP Nights Of Summer Side, welke From The Depth nu uit heeft. Daarop staan ook andere covers. Zo speelt From The Depth ook ‘What Is Love’ van Haddaway. Die track komt ook van ver buiten de metal, maar heeft ook zijn sporen nagelaten. Overigens krijgt From The Depth in ‘Sweet Dreams’ assistentie van de charmante Giorgia Colleluori.

“Even if Covid-19 pandemic forced us to stop our live and rehearsal activities, we decided to keep us busy. We started recording a cover for the production of the upcoming album. Shortly the project became bigger, and we recorded 3 singles just for fun. Everybody loves those songs and we still headbang when we listen to them! It was really funny, and we hope the listeners will love them as much as we do. And if you are looking for some real heavy metal, don’t worry you won’t have to wait too much…”

Over From The Depth

From The Depth is in 2008 ontstaan in Parma. De band heeft zich goed in de kijker gespeeld in de wereld van de power metal. Dat heeft geresulteerd in een tal van shows door heel Europa en voorprogrammaplaatsen bij onder andere Rhapsody Of Fire en Moonspell. De band brengt momenteel muziek uit via Rockshots Records.
