Wall Of Jericho kondigt nieuwe plaat aan

Metalcore zou niet in zijn huidige vorm bestaan zonder de legendes uit Detroit, Walls Of Jericho. Dat is een feit. Met genre-bepalende platen zoals The Bound Feed The Gagged uit 1999 en All Hail The Dead aus 2004, die de undergroundscene veroverden en de blauwdruk bepaalden, braken ze vervolgens wereldwijd door in de hitlijsten met With Devils Amongst Us All, The American Dream en No One Can Save You From Your Self, waarmee ze hun status definitief vestigden. Nu kondigt Walls Of Jericho een nieuwe plaat aan.

Na jarenlang onvermoeibaar toeren en het platspelen van prestigieuze podia op onder andere Louder Than Life, Hellfest, Tied Down en Furnace Fest, keren ze dus eindelijk terug met een nieuw studioalbum. Die nieuwe plaat van Walls Of Jericho is genaamd System Error: Humanity. Die release verschijnt op 13 november 2026 via Napalm Records. Beukend, confronterend en opbeurend: Walls Of Jericho blijft onwrikbaar trouw aan de waarden en het geluid waarop hun nalatenschap is gebouwd.

Single online

Om de aankondiging van die nieuwe plaat direct kracht bij te zetten, heeft Walls Of Jericho ook gelijk een single online gezet. Dat is ‘The Ascent’. Die track is zowel op de streamingsdiensten als met een video op YouTube te genieten. Check die video hier, om vervolgens de reacties te lezen.
