Nunslaughter brengt nieuw album ‘Satanic Chaos Legions’ uit en deelt single “Unsacrament”

De Amerikaanse extreme metalband Nunslaughter heeft hun nieuwe album Satanic Chaos Legions uitgebracht via het label BLKIIBLK. Ter gelegenheid van de release heeft de band ook een nieuwe single gedeeld, getiteld “Unsacrament”, inclusief een officiële videoclip die via de volgende link te bekijken is.

De band uit Cleveland staat bekend om hun mix van black metal en thrash en geldt al decennia als invloedrijk binnen de underground metalscene. Volgens frontman Don of the Dead is de nieuwe single “Unsacrament” “een oorlogsverklaring vanuit het graf” en een “anti-evangelie” dat zich keert tegen religieuze thema’s.

Het nieuwe album bevat veertien tracks, waaronder “Jesus Fu*king Dies”, “Christian Ruse”, “Rotten Messiah” en het titelnummer Satanic Chaos Legions. Ook de eerder uitgebrachte single “Unsacrament” maakt deel uit van de plaat.

Don of the Dead vertelt over het album:  “With BLKIIBLK on our side NUNSLAUGHTER can ram the black horn of Satan down the throats of every metalhead on the planet, spitting fresh venom and blistering hatred directly into the rotting face of Christianity with ‘Satanic Chaos Legions.“

EU tour

Naast de release maakt Nunslaughter zich op voor een uitgebreide Europese tour. De band trapt die af met optredens in onder meer Polen, Slowakije, Roemenië, Hongarije, Duitsland, Nederland en België. In Nederland staan onder andere shows gepland in Tilburg en diverse festivals zoals In Flammen Open Air (DE-netwerk) en Obscene Extreme Festival in Tsjechië.

Na de Europese tour keert de band in augustus terug naar de Verenigde Staten voor shows in Ohio.
