TDW komt met de single 'The Path Of Yuki Onna'

Het was al bijna 2022 toen TDW de langspeler Fountains uitbracht. Dat is nog niet zo lang geleden, maar toch is er alweer nieuws rondom de band van Tom de Wit. TDW heeft namelijk alweer nieuwe muziek en presenteert dan ook graag de nieuwe single.

Die nieuwe single van TDW heet ‘The Path Of Yuki Onna’. Voor deze single, die niet verward moet worden met een ode aan de geliefde van John Lennon, heeft TDW echt uitgepakt. In deze track is namelijk ook een koto te horen. Daarmee haalt TDW de Japanse oude cultuur nog sterker naar voren. Hoe dat klinkt? Luister zelf naar de nieuwe single.

“For me, this is an experiment that I wanted to dive into. I love Japanese culture, history, myths, snow and trying new things linguistically and musically. So even if nobody likes this song I will still consider it a successful endeavor, because I could combine all these things in one go! I also consider this a way to see if people dig this or not, as I have been playing around with the idea of making an album based on myths from all around the world and combining different types of music and languages with my own writing style.”
